City Centre Ambassadors

The Worcester BID City Centre Ambassadors (formerly Street Rangers) undertake business visits, offer directions to tourists, deal with illegal busking and begging, meet and greet coaches and distribute BID material. Business visits are designed to exchange information, offer advice to BID members, sign up businesses to BID activities and for the BID team to assist with any issues you may have.

James Bell

_dsc6707-25James joined Worcester BID in September 2016 as a BID Ambassador. Having grown up in South London, James moved to Worcester in 2010. Since then, he has worked in various city centre establishments and achieved a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Tourism Management from the University of West England, Bristol. This coincides with his passion for enterprise, town planning and events management.

His main role as a visible presence on our streets is to work together with businesses, visitors and people of Worcester to provide a friendlier, more informed, safer and cleaner city, working closely with the Police and CCTV, as well as facilitating Worcester BID schemes, promoting trade and tourism with businesses and the public, and helping with BID events.

You can contact James on 01905 731612, or by email james.bell@worcesterbid.com. His normal Ambassador days are Friday and Saturday and his CityNet call sign is ‘Zero three’.
