Welcome to the latest EBulletin

Worcester Woods Business Meeting

A quick reminder that a meeting takes place tomorrow (Friday) morning at 8am in Wildwood in CrownGate to discuss the latest on the Worcester Woods Retail Park planning application. Details are in the attached letter. Let us know if you wish to attend – we’ve had a good response so far!

Hanging Baskets – Expressions of Interest Sought

We are leading on the return of hanging baskets throughout the city centre and we need to see what levels of interest there are in having them on your frontages. Please take time to look at the letter  and let us know what your requirements might be so that we can plan for a bloomin’ great scheme!

It’s a Mystery (Shop)

Customer Service Awards

Our annual customer service assessment (or mystery shopping) project is up and running and we want as many BID businesses as possible to get involved. Letters have been hand delivered to every BID business but if you have mislaid it, the details are here. The deadline for complete forms to be returned is Tuesday 19th January, so don’t delay! The Customer Service Awards taking place on March 15th.

Mobile Street Trading Conditions – Consultation

If you feel that the presence of mobile street traders is an issue in the city centre, some changes are being put forward and your views would be welcomed. The consultation document outlines some of the ideas proposed as well as what they existing conditions are. This is a great opportunity to tighten the regulations and the BID team have already put forward their views which aim to reduce the problems that the street traders cause local businesses.  Click here for a copy of the existing trading conditions.

Wallplanning Ahead

Worcester BID Wall Planner

It outlines all of the key event dates run by the BID including the fashion, health and well-being inspired event which has been confirmed for 8th to 11th September as well as others throughout the year and is a great accompaniment to an office or staff room wall.

Setting Out The Stalls

Please see the following letter written by LSD Promotions regarding the start of a trial running a market on the High Street beginning this Saturdays.
