St. Richard’s Hospice celebrated a major milestone in Worcester city centre as its flagship charity shop on St. Swithin’s Street officially hosted its grand relaunch following an extensive six-week transformation.
The temporary closure allowed the team to completely modernise the space, creating a vibrant, boutique-style shopping environment. The newly designed layout has successfully enhanced the shopping experience for local residents looking for high-quality pre-loved fashion, books, and homeware, while providing a refreshed, uplifting space for the dedicated staff and volunteers who keep the shop running.
The popular Café Snowdrops has also had a major revamp, making it an even more inviting location to relax with a coffee and a new read from the upstairs second-hand book shop.
As a long-standing fixture of Worcester’s high street, the St. Swithin’s store plays a crucial role in raising vital funds to support hospice care across the county. This beautiful transformation marked an exciting new chapter for the shop, perfectly blending sustainable shopping with a renewed commitment to the local community.

With the doors now officially open, the team was thrilled by the overwhelming support from the public on opening day and is excited to welcome even more shoppers through the doors over the coming weeks.
