A gold standard for safe sipping: TONIC achieves national Best Bar None accreditation for 2026
TONIC is celebrating a major milestone after officially achieving the highly respected national Best Bar None accreditation for 2026, cementing its status as a safe evening venue.
Located on Foregate Street, TONIC has spent years building a sterling reputation among locals for its suave looks and hospitality. From its creamy pints of Guinness and meticulously crafted cocktails to its rotating craft beer paddles, the independent bar works hard to offer a premium, comfortable night out.
TONIC is the next business in Worcester to have passed Best Bar None with flying colours: showing how a lively, highly creative atmosphere can be paired with top-tier safety standards.
Best Bar None is a nationally recognised, Home Office-backed scheme that rigorously audits licensed venues. To achieve accreditation, the team at TONIC underwent a thorough assessment reviewing everything from customer safety and welfare policies to staff training, crowd management, and responsible alcohol licensing standards.
Reflecting on the achievement and the pride they take in their work, Shane Pollard, co-owner of TONIC, shared:
“We are thrilled to receive our Best Bar None accreditation once again. It shows the commitment we have to our customers’ and staff’s safety & enjoyment by ensuring the policies we have in place meet the highest standards”
