This September, independent salon Wicked Hair reaches a remarkable milestone as it celebrates 68 years in Worcester and its first anniversary under new ownership!
First established in 1958, the salon was originally opened as Jon’s by its founder, Mr Jon. Over the decades, Mr Jon became a beloved figure within the local community until his passing in 2021, laying down a strong legacy of craftsmanship, high standards, and welcoming service that continues to define the salon today.
While evolving into Wicked Hair, the salon has retained its place as a trusted local favourite, offering everything from routine maintenance cuts, restyles, and signature bombshell blow-dries to smooth hair treatments, extensions, and bespoke party hair styling for special occasions.
The fantastic venue is now owned by Helena & Jade, who said:
“We are nearly a year into officially owning Wicked Hair. We’ve had a great year. Our team and clients have been very supportive and we’re grateful for that. We’ve introduced incentives for our team. I think the one they love the most is that we all get the same Saturday off… we can finally have fun together ☺️!
We will be hosting a year’s celebration party in November and supporting a charity which is close to one of our clients’ hearts and for a very brave young lady… but all will be revealed soon.
