Local businesses across Worcester city centre are joining forces this October half-term to deliver a week-long celebration featuring citywide trick-or-treating, interactive trail stops, and, to finish it off a there is even a family party hosted by Crowngate Shopping Centre on Halloween (Saturday 31 October)!
The spooky lineup aims to create a safe, vibrant seasonal atmosphere while boosting footfall for high-street traders.
Visitors can expect decorated storefronts, a trail of 12 Pumpkin Brick Sculptures, ranging from 30cm to 60cm in size, to find throughout the city, a Trick or Treat Trail for little ones, and a grand Halloween bonanza party at Crowngate Shopping Centre.
Families who follow the Pumpkin Brick Sculpture trail across the city will be invited to find the hidden letters near the pumpkins to decode a secret 12-letter Halloween word.
Our Trick or Treat Trail is all about creating a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment where little ones can enjoy daylight trick-or-treating! Trick or Treat will take place on Thursday 29th October & Friday 30th October. Details will be released on https://www.facebook.com/groups/trailsandevents.
A spokesperson for Worcester BID said: “Halloween has fast become a magical time in the city centre. Working together across Crowngate and the BID area allows us to host an unforgettable experience for families: new this year for the first time, we have the Halloween Brick Trail, inviting families to discover brick pumpkins across the city: a great way to explore and keep children entertained whilst shopping and a great free holiday activity during half-term.”
The fun will run throughout the October half-term week, with organisers inviting residents and visitors of all ages to join in.
